This deck works really well and is a nice budget option. Rescue Rabbit is far from dead because this deck almost always beats Qliphorts.

This deck is weak to decks like Seraph Tellarknights but does well against most other decks. The 2 in 1 deck element adds a lot of fun to it and can confuse the opponent as well.

Hope you like this deck, please comment.

Yugioh: October 2014 Banlist

Here is the latest yugioh banlist and what I think of it.

Banned:
None
Limited:
Glow Up Bulb, great in plants especially Sylvans, it won't be overpowered anymore but it will definitely be worth using.

Infernity Archfiend, I liked infernity but they were pretty powerful, I must admit I certainly didn't see this coming despite being powerful and winning worlds. Infernity probably deserved to be hit because of how much xyz and synchro they could spam in one turn + they have the ability to negate things with infernity barrier.

Raigeki, This is very stupid and smart at the same time, it is stupid because it makes lower tier decks even less powerful but Konami made a smart move because it may move more people to higher tiered deck or maybe it is dumb and they want to get rid of players. I don't like raigeki being brought back but it could be worse such as harpies feather duster.

Soul Charge, I only ever ran 1 anyway and I think this is a good choice to be limited

Super Polymerization, This thing was a pain and I'm glad it was hit, although I feel sorry for those using lower tiered fusion decks because I got annoyed a while back when future fusion was banned due to chaos dragons.

Semi-Limited:
Gale the Whirlwind, great choice because blackwings deserve to make a comeback, it won't be overly threatening and it is great to bring back older archetypes.

Gorz, most people stopped using this so it doesn't bother me at all.

Ceasefire, I don't mind going against burn decks and I don't think the extra ceasefire will be all that annoying.

Transmigration Prophecy, This really doesn't bother me no-one really used this and it's way too slow.
Unlimited:
Wolfbark, would konami make up their mind about this card, if this card is unlimited can we please get rescue rabbit back, it is unlimited in japan and has been doing nothing + it forces you to run normals for 1 card xyzing unlike wolfbark.

Magician of Faith, this card is no longer good so this was bound to happen.

Formula Synchron, I think that this is a good way to bring synchros back although they still won't make too much of a scene due to the existence of Qliphort.

ROTA, I'm not sure what to think about this one, it works in the favour of many archetypes including the relatively new Tellar knights. Tenki is at 3 so I guess it is only fair that ROTA is at 3 aswell.

I don't like raigeki being limited due to making lower tier decks weaker but overall this banlist is ok, although I feel sorry for those using infernity because I liked using them because of how fun they were.

Hope you enjoyed, please comment

Pokemon TCG: Battle Arena

In this post I review a Pokemon TCG pack called Battle Arena Xernas vs Yveltal. This Pokemon TCG pack contains 2 decks, damage counters, a play mat and 2 coins (1 yveltal and 1 xerneas)
Here are the deck lists

Xerneas Deck
Xerneas x2 (a bad version of xerneas, not worth using)
Xerneas x2 (xy,a good version of xerneas with energy acceleration in the form of geomancy)
Carbink x2 (one is holo)
Mr mime x2 (xy, the fairy variant)
Spritzee x2 (xy)
Aromatisse x1 (excellent for energy manipulation)
Jiggypuff x3 (body slam)
Wigglytuff x2 (hocus pinkus variant)
Eevee x2 (the good one from furious fists that can evolve when energy is attached)
Sylveon x2 (furious fists)
Furfrou x2 (the bad version)

Energy Retrieval x2
Evosoda x2
Full Heal x2
Hard Charm x2
Lysandre x1
Fairy Garden x2
Pokemon Centre Lady x2
Pokemon Fan Club x1
Professor Sycamore x2
Professor's Letter x1
Tierno x2
Trevor x1
Ultra Ball x2
Fairy Energy x16 (6 holos)

This deck is very good for people who are just starting and for people who want access to fairy types, it gives players another option other than the resilient life theme deck. It is great that the makers of Pokemon TCG have decided to include more trainer cards in these decks, out of these trainers there are quite a few good ones, e.g Sycamore, Ultra ball and Lysnadre, just to name a few. There is a good amount of energies in this deck, I like how they included some holos. Overall there isn't much Pokemon worth using, the main ones worth using would be Xerneas xy and Aromatisse.

Overall the deck isn't too bad and includes some nice options for fairy collectors and new players.

Yveltal Deck
Yveltal x2 (a new yet terrible variant)
Yveltal x2 (the good variant which can accelerate energy)
Drapion x2 (furious fists)
Skorupi x2 (furious fists)
Zorua x3 (xy)
Zoroark x2 (xy, not as good as the dark explorers variant)
Scraggy x3 (furious fists)
Scrafty x2 (furious fists)
Inkay x2 (upside down evolution variant)
Malamar x2 (mental trash variant)

Cassius x2
Energy Retrieval x1
Lysandre x1
Muscle Band x2
Magnetic Storm x2
Pokemon Fan Club x1
Professor Sycamore x2
Professor's Letter x2
Red Card x2
Switch x2
Shauna x2
Trevor x1
Ultra Ball x2
Darkness energy x16 (6 holos)

Once again this deck is quite good for new players and dark collectors, it includes a couple of good Pokemon such as Yveltal xy and Malamar. The trainer selection is good, I like how it includes Sycamore, Shauna, Ultra Ball, Switch, Lysandre and Muscle band. The trainer selection is better than the Xerneas Deck had. This deck has some holo energies just like the Xerneas deck, good for collectors and for people who like shiny cards.

Overall these decks are worth getting despite some bad Pokemon, the main reason I say this is because of the trainer cards you get access to aswell as Xerneas/ Yveltal, you can even combine the decks to create something like this.

Xerneas/Yveltal deck
Xerneas x2(xy)
Carbink x2
Spritzee x1
Aromatisse x1
Jiggypuff x2
Wigglytuff x2
Inkay x2
Malamar x2
Yveltal x1(xy)

Professor Sycamore x4
Shauna x2
Lysandre x2
Pokemon Fan Club x2
Pokemon Centre Lady x1
Tierno x2
Fairy Garden x2
Ultra Ball x4
Evosoda x1
Switch x2
Professor's Letter x2
Muscle Band x2
Red Card x2
Energy Retrieval x1

Fairy energy x9
Darkness energy x5

This deck may not be the most viable but it is decent for just buying this set, the aim is to energy accelerate using Wigglytuff or Xerneas to Power up Carbink who can get a huge attack thanks to it's move Wonder Blast which deals 40 damage +20 damage for each fairy energy attached, it costs 3 colourless energies to use.

This deck also has hand manipulation in the forms of Malamar and Red card, Malamar can use Mental trash to get rid of the opponents hand which may disrupt them. Later on you can also recycle darkness energies using Yveltal, I only included 1 because it is not the most important for this deck to work but it is still useful.

I must emphasize that this deck is by no means competitive but is good enough to take on fun decks and new players decks. It is overall fun to play and I like how it has a decent ability to search for the Pokemon you need.

I would recommend this pack because of how useful it is for dark/fairy players, budget players and new players. It has alot of decent cards but the only thing letting it down is the inclusion of a few bad Pokemon and the New Yveltal/Xerneas cards are nowhere near in the leagues of the older variants. It is because of these reasons I rate it 4/5, it included better decks than most but it is by no means perfect.

Pokemon: Aromatisse/Milotic

Aromatisse decks have been my favourite sort of Pokemon deck to become available since XY was released.

The main goal of the deck is the move energies around using Aromatisses ability called Fairy Transfer, moving energies is useful because you can power up Pokemon very easily and save energies just in case a Pokemon has been defeated.

Aromatisse can also move prism and rainbow energies, unfortunately this format doesn't allow to use of prism energies so we can only use 4 energies that are treated as any type of energy.

Despite this disadvantage the deck is still viable and can even make use of Milotic from the Flash Fire expansion.
You can use the ability Energy Grace to get 3 fairy energies from the discard pile and attach them to Aromatisse so it can attach them to EX Pokemon.

Here is the deck list:

Pokemon (16)

3-3 Aromatisse
1-1 Milotic
2 Xerneas
2 Xerneas-EX
2 Suicune
1 Yveltal-EX
1 Shaymin-EX

Trainers (29)

4 Professor Sycamore
4 Shauna/N (Shauna is a good budget option)
2 Pokemon Fan Club
2 Skyla
2 Lysandre

3 Fairy Garden

3 Ultra Ball
1 Evosoda
4 Switch
2 Muscle Band
1 Professor's letter
1 Startling Megaphone

Energy (15)

4 Rainbow Energy
1 Double Colourless Energy
9 Fairy Energy
1 Water Energy

Overall this deck has a lot of options, it can use Xerneas to accelerate energy early on in the game and it can use Milotic to accelerate energies late game.

The deck has 3 Aromatisse to make full use of energy manipulation and the energy acceleration the Xerneas and Milotic can do.

It can even quickly power up Xerneas-EX and use X-Blast every turn by using switch and fairy garden to switch out and switch back again.

It has the capability of walling EX Pokemon using Suicune.

It has secondary attackers in the form of Yveltal- EX and Shaymin-Ex, Yveltal-Ex can be powered up late game by attaching loads of energy using Aromatisse and Shaymin-Ex makes a brilliant late game attacker with the move Revenge Blast.

Overall the deck is very powerful and fun to play but it does have some downsides. It plays weak Pokemon like Feebas and Spritzee and it could be a disadvantage to start off with only them. To try and prevent this from being a problem I included 4 Switches which is normally enough to switch the weak Pokemon for another one I get using Pokemon Fan Club or Ultra Ball.

Apart from that slight issue there really isn't much issues with the deck, although there could be extra things to include if I had them.

Keldeo-Ex would be nice because I can get rid of status problems and allow Xerneas-EX to always attack without needing switches.

Max potion would also be useful because I could either switch the energies away with Aromatisse, heal then put the energies back again or I can dump the energies to heal my Pokemon then use Milotic to put them back again (if the Pokemon isn't an EX)

Basically that is all there is to say about the deck, it is good alternative to a Kangaskhan based deck and doesn't have the annoying fighting weakness. It doesn't have much of a problem against EX based decks because it can use Suicune. Most importantly this deck is really fun to play and powerful at the same time.
